The Department of Conservation (DOC) is seeking quotes from New Zealand‑based suppliers to provide influenza (flu) vaccination vouchers for staff. The service will ensure staff across the
country, including those in regional locations, can easily access flu vaccinations during the annual influenza season. While DOC’s preferred approach is a voucher‑based model, suppliers are
also asked to provide pricing for optional on‑site nurse visits for locations that may require them.
This procurement supports DOC’s ongoing commitment to staff health, safety, and wellbeing, helping reduce the risk of influenza transmission across diverse and often physically demanding work
environments. DOC requires a supplier that can offer nationwide voucher acceptance, efficient online administration, clear monthly reporting and consolidated invoicing, and the capability to
deliver on‑site vaccinations if needed. An estimated 900–1,000 vouchers will be required each year.
The contract is expected to begin on 1 April 2026, with an initial two‑year term and two optional one‑year renewals (up to four years in total).
