Candys Creek Retaining Wall Repairs - PW (Новая Зеландия - Тендер #70971186)

This is a Physical Works contract for repairs to the Candys Creek Retaining Wall located below State Highway 73 (SH73) at RP 151/3.10-3.18.

The Contract Works comprise of:
- Temporary Traffic Management;
- Site establishment and clearance activities as required for access to work areas;
- Provision of access to complete the specified works. This may be provided by constructing an access track north to the site from Starvation Point, the use of a cableway from the Otira Gorge Rock Shelter Lookout or a combination of the two;
- Realignment of the Otira River, completed by moving boulders from the true left of the river to the true right;
- Excavation and construction of a keyed ‘toe beam’ at the base of the Retaining Wall. This is to be excavated to below the existing river bed level;
- Backfilling of the voids behind the wall with mass concrete, including the installation of drainage;
- Concrete repairs at crest and face of the wall where Candys Creek discharges;
- Construction of Shotcrete facing;
- Environmental compliance including preparation and implementation of environmental Management Plans;
- Site reinstatement in accordance with Department of Conservation (DoC) approval conditions.

Only tenderers pre-qualified to Bridge Construction – Level A, B or C (3A, 3B or 3C) and Construction – Level A, B or C (4A, 4B or 4C) under the terms of the Transport Agency’s Prequalification System are eligible to submit a tender.

All responses to tender queries/clarifications will be answered by Notice to Tenderer which will be available in the GETS addenda.

Tender submissions shall be uploaded to GETS eTender box in two separate files.

The GETS file upload limit is 50 MB. The files should be labelled as:
- Supplier Company Name - File No 1 – 3210 – Proposal excluding Price
- Supplier Company Name - File No 2 – 3210 – Price (pdf format PLUS excel spreadsheet Schedule of Prices)

Tender submissions will only be accepted electronically via the GETS eTender box.
