The Opportunity
The Selwyn District Council (SDC) is seeking proposals for The Selwyn Aquatic Centre which will undergo a scheduled two-week closure in April 2026 to complete essential maintenance and
upgrades.
Selwyn District Council are seeking a partner who understands the importance of delivering public value to our rate payers and ensuring that our community facilities remain accessible reliable
and well maintained.
The key out comes we are seeking are:
Certainty of delivery and timelines: The Selwyn Aquatic Maintenance closure is planned for a strict two-week period. It is essential that all work is completed within this time frame to ensure
the facility reopens to the public as advertised.
Clear and proactive communication: If any unforeseen issues arise, we expect immediate communication along with practical solution-ocused plans to minimise disruption. Given the high usage of
the aquatic facility, disruptions need to be managed carefully.
Compliance with Safety standards: All respondents must meet applicable industry safety and quality standards, evidence of previous successful delivery in similar operational environments will
be required.
