SH1 Wellington Improvements: Principal’s Technical Adviser - Expression of Interest (Новая Зеландия - Тендер #70699472)

This Expression of Interest (EOI) invites experienced multi-disciplinary professional services providers to support NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) in delivering the State Highway 1 (SH1) Wellington Improvements as Principal’s Technical Adviser (PTA). The EOI offers an early overview of the project and anticipated scope for information only, preceding a separate Request for Tender (RFT), and will not form part of any future tender or contract.

Prospective Registrants are invited to review the attached EOI documentation and self‑assess their suitability before submitting a response to register their interest. At this stage, NZTA is not seeking information on minor sub‑consultants.

Prospective Registrants must submit a registration in response to this EOI by the closing date to be considered for participation in the subsequent RFT process. Only those Registrants assessed as meeting NZTA’s requirements will be invited to participate in the subsequent closed RFT process.

PTA scope:
• Provide project-wide technical and communications and engagement support.
• Undertake targeted design development for Specimen Design.
• Develop the Principal’s Requirements.
• Provide technical input to procurement of ECI consortia.
• Lead technical assurance during ECI.
• Support transition to D+C ITC.
• Lead technical assurance during D+C detailed design.
• Undertake, deliver and manage detailed design for Enabling Works.

An online briefing for prospective Registrants will take place at 11am on Wednesday, 4 February. To attend, email your contact details and organisation name to tender@nzta.govt.nz with the subject "EOI Briefing SH1 WI PTA" by 12pm on Tuesday, 3 February. A TEAMS invitation link will be sent by 5pm that day.

NZTA will share project details with prospective Registrants through a virtual data room. Please complete and return the attached Non-Disclosure Agreement for approval; access to the data room will be granted once approved.

Please submit your EOI response using the Response Aide on GETS by 12pm.
