Dental Services for Prisoners (Notification of Procurement) (Новая Зеландия - Тендер #69290727)

Ara Poutama Aotearoa | Department of Corrections is now procuring dental services for people in prison. This is the last in a series of three advertisements on GETS.

The Department is operating an openly advertised competitive tender process inviting tenders from qualified dental practitioners who are dedicated to making a significant impact on the lives of people in our care.

I will provide tender documentation to interested parties via email. If you have not already expressed interest you need to email me at tenders@corrections.govt.nz with “Dental services” in the subject and I will email you the tender documentation. I will also publish the documentation here on the government electronic tendering system where you can download it if that is more convenient. Note: the government electronic tendering system is only being used as an advertising mechanism and all communications and your proposals must be via email to tenders@corrections.govt.nz.

# Pre-condition
1. All dentists that deliver the Dental Services must be registered with the Dental Council of New Zealand and hold a current annual practising certificate.
2. Confirm that no person delivering the Dental Services are under any form of supervision as defined by the Dental Council of New Zealand.
3. Confirm that no person delivering the Dental Services have any complaints against them that have been upheld by the Dental Council of New Zealand, the Health and Disability Commission and/or the Health and Disability Tribunal, over the last five years.
4. Confirm that all Dental Personnel delivering the Dental Services will consent to undertake and pass a drug test as part of the Buyer’s drug testing processes.
5. Confirm that all Dental Personnel delivering the Dental Services will be able to undertake and pass Ministry of Justice checks and/or police vetting.
6. Confirm that all dentists delivering the Dental Services will hold a current and valid New Zealand Resuscitation Council cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certificate.
