The Contract Works comprise of:
Three separable portions of granular overlay & improvement works on SH79 between Geraldine and Fairlie:
Separable Portion A: SH79 Kennedy Street intersection improvements. The scope of works is an intersection realignment and safety barrier installation at the SH79 Kennedy Street intersection. The works include:
• Shoulder widening (including stripping of old pavement/topsoil, placement of new pavement layers and chipsealing)
• Minor earthworks and swale shaping
• W-Beam barrier and terminals
• Linemarking and signage installation
Separable Portion B: SH79 Howe Road, Hall Road East, and Hall Road (RP: 079-0015/13.640 to 079-0015/15.010) The scope of work includes a granular overlay over three continuous successive
Separable Portion C: SH79 Hall/ Howe Road Overlay – Associated Guardrail Improvements. The scope includes shoulder widening and safety barrier installation.
Traffic management (including for cyclist and pedestrian traffic) for the Contract Works shall be designed and implemented by the Contractor in accordance with the New Zealand Guide to Temporary Traffic Management (NZGTTM).

Only tenderers pre-qualified to Surfacing – Level C (2C) and Construction – Level C (4C). under the terms of the Transport Agency’s Prequalification System are eligible to submit a tender.

All responses to tender queries/clarifications will be answered by Notice to Tenderer which will be available in the GETS addenda.

Tender submissions shall be uploaded to GETS eTender box in a single zip file.
