The Public Service Commission (the Commission) is responsible for ensuring performance excellence and maintaining high standards of integrity across New Zealand’s public services. Two of the
ways we do this are through Performance Improvement Reviews (PIRs), which focus on assessing and enhancing performance, and Investigations, which address matters of integrity and conduct where
public trust and confidence are at risk.
We are seeking to establish a new panel to replace the current one, which expires in January 2026. This panel will support the Commission to deliver PIRs and Investigations. Panel members may
be appointed as Lead Reviewers for PIRs, Investigators for Investigations, or both, depending on their experience. Appointments will initially be for five years, and the panel will remain open
to allow additional suppliers to be added, ensuring a broad range of skills and expertise are available to meet emerging needs.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to high-profile, time-sensitive work that supports the integrity and performance of New Zealand’s Public Service.
