The Auckland Transport Operation Centre (ATOC)—a joint initiative between NZTA and AT—and the Wellington Transport Operation Centre (WTOC), managed by NZTA, operate 24/7 to manage New Zealand’s transport network in real time. They collaborate with emergency services and other stakeholders to respond to both planned and unplanned events affecting all transport modes.

This RFI is to seek and obtain information from organisations about the potential supply of a solution that provides real-time visibility to support decision-making and optimization of the transport network nationally. It will offer operators nationally continuous Transport Roading Network Performance Management capability including situational awareness by consolidating real-time data, highlighting actionable insights, and enabling focused actions to enhance transportation network performance.
