Main Contractor for Dannevirke High School (Dannevirke) B, C, J, M, N, CP & Covered Walkways Roofing & Spouting Replacements (Новая Зеландия - Тендер #66907517)

The project will address essential infrastructure needs through the replacement of end-of-life roofing and associated components to Blocks B, C, J, M, N, CP and Covered Walkways. The outcome is to ensure watertight, safe, and compliant facilities, and to extend the life of these assets in line with MOE and specialist report recommendations.

Specialist reports authored as part of the schools 10YPP, identified significant roofing failures requiring urgent remediation. Some blocks require full replacement whereas other blocks only require targeted and localised roofing replacements. Some block remedial works are being treated as the first stage of a two-stage replacement strategy over two 5YA cycles.

The works specific to this cycle, will be delivered as a single stage, ideally programmed over the December–February summer holiday period to minimise disruption to teaching and learning. This approach will reduce the need for decanting and staging, with all areas handed back at practical completion. The warmer, dryer months are more conducive to this sort of project also. The school is motivated to get some specific areas completed so could be open to an earlier commencement and for works to be conducted in a live school environment.

The contract works involve end-of-life roof replacements to Blocks B, C, J, M, N, CP & Covered Walkways. The project includes all associated rainwater goods and related carpentry. Works will include site establishment, full removal and replacement of metal roofing, flashings, spouting, downpipes, and overflows; replacement of membrane roofing and gutters where applicable; and installation of compliant trafficable translucent roofing. All works will be undertaken with appropriate scaffolding, safety measures, and reinstatement of services as required.

**Note: works associated with Blocks J & CP have been directly addressed by Dannevirke High School and are therefore "Out of Scope". In addition, Block M could be subject to descoping / value engineering. Tenderers fully acknowledge this on submitting their response.**
