Main Contractor for Huia Range School (Dannevirke) A, B & H Roofing Remedials & Replacements (Новая Зеландия - Тендер #66849969)

The contract works involve end-of-life roof replacements to Blocks A, B, and H, including associated rainwater goods and related carpentry. Works will include site establishment, full removal and replacement of metal roofing, flashings, spouting, downpipes, and overflows; replacement of membrane roofing and gutters where applicable; and installation of compliant trafficable translucent roofing.

In Block A, the scope also includes redesign and replacement of covered walkway structures to address water ingress, replacement of external decking with new slip-resistant treated timber, installation of compliant handrails/balustrades, and provision of an accessible ramp.
In Block B, works will focus on asset preservation through localised metal roof and rainwater goods replacement, while fully replacing the non-compliant translucent canopy roofing.
Block H will receive full replacement of the metal roof cladding and rainwater goods. All works will be undertaken with appropriate scaffolding, safety measures, and reinstatement of services as required.

Small to medium scale project.
Turnkey solution delivered as one project and then handed back to the client. There is potential to hand Blocks B & H back sooner given they can be addressed in isolation.
Flat site. Blocks B & H can be easily isolated. The work to Block A can potentially impact the daily operation of the school. Ideally work to Block A can be delivered over the extended summer school holiday period to avoid working in a live school environment.
