Call for Registration of Interest (ROI) Rakiura Energy Project (Новая Зеландия - Тендер #66568268)

Context:

a. This Registration of Interest (ROI) is an invitation to submit a Registration of Interest in the Rakiura Renewable Energy Project.

b. This ROI is the first step in a multi-step procurement process. After evaluation, shortlisted Respondent/s will be invited to participate in the next step.

This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in helping New Zealand’s southernmost community to have more affordable energy and a more robust electricity generation and distribution network.

There are a number of options we are keen to explore through this ROI and are seeking responses from companies that wish to provide one or more of the following services:

1. Design and build 2MWp solar and 4 MWh battery system integrated with the existing diesel generation with full network automation to enable remote access and management of the network.

2. Upgrading the distribution network including completing an 11kV ring main, projects to strengthen the existing network to improve resilience, and replace legacy meters with smart meters

3. Operate and maintain SIESA’s electricity generation and distribution network.
