Advance Notice - Stab Resistant Body Armour (Новая Зеландия - Тендер #65914839)

This Notice provides advance notification to the market of the Department of Corrections’ intention to release a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the supply of Stab Resistant Body Armour and related services.

The Department aims to select a preferred supplier to provide quality body armour components and accessories, collectively these make up the Stab Resistant Body Armour system (SRBA). In addition, the Department seeks to establish an efficient, cost-effective, and dynamic rollout process, as well as ongoing SRBA support services.

The proposed contract term is 6 years with up to two rights of renewal of 2 years each, depending on supplier performance and providing ongoing best value for money.

The RFP will be released via the Government Electronic Tenders Service (GETS) in early August 2025.

Any responses or information provided to the Department at this stage will not be considered. The Department will not, in general, enter into any communications regarding the nature of this opportunity before the publication of the RFP.
