commercial building refurbishments to a high-quality finish, inside a fixed construction window, while
being good neighbours (within building and outside of it), and for best value.
New Plymouth District Council (NPDC) is seeking a main contractor with a proven track record of
delivering complex projects on time, and to the highest standards of workmanship. The TSB Showplace is
a premier venue in Taranaki"s performing arts community, and as such, the quality of work must be
exceptional.
We are seeking a qualified contractor with:
 Experience delivering commercial building refurbishment projects within CBD areas, where it is
important to have good working relationships with neighbouring tenants affected by access, noise
and dust issues during construction.
 Experience and expertise in delivering projects where high quality of finish is required.
 Expertise in the management of own staff and a range of sub-contractors through a fixed tight
construction timeframe.
 Strong health and safety record with robust policies and procedures in place.
 Compliance with all health and safety regulations, including the ability to meet NPDC"s specific
requirements.
