The Ministry of Social Development will shortly be advertising for Energy Management Services.

This Advance Notice is to inform the market of an upcoming Request for Proposal (RFP) seeking an experienced energy management service provider to deliver oversight and performance monitoring of its national property portfolio. We will be looking for an organisation to provide comprehensive, proactive energy management services. MSD manages a large geographically dispersed property portfolio with 211 unique Installation Control Points (ICPs) across New Zealand and you will be expected to work in close partnership with the Ministry to drive energy efficiency, cost savings, and provide comprehensive reporting.

We will be releasing a Request for Proposal (RFP) on Friday 13 June 2025 with the opportunity advertised via GETS through to MSD"s Procurement System - Weka. In preparation for the release of the RFP we invite you to download the documents attached to this Notice to register your organisation in advance as a prospective supplier on our Weka Procurement System (if you are not already).
