Invercargill Groundwater Modelling 2025 (Новая Зеландия - Тендер #63877823)

The primary aim of this project is to undertake modelling of groundwater levels and seawater inundation for Invercargill City. This model will be developed based on existing data. The outcomes of this modelling will subsequently be used to inform future groundwater monitoring requirements and in conjunction with surface water flood modelling to inform natural hazard assessments for the city, focussing on to key city infrastructure.

This groundwater modelling will utilise existing information relating to sea-level rise, land subsidence, and groundwater levels, and will utilise scenarios that align with national and regional climate change projections. The modelling will likely adopt an envelope approach to present range of results across the spectrum of climate change projections available.

We are seeking proposals for how to undertake this work and are open to discussions relating to methodology and approach.
