This project is for the repair and construction works for the Rubbish Dump Stopbank that forms part of the wider Franz Josef Stage 2 Project and the West Coast IRG Resilience programme of work.
The project encompasses all work associated with the repair and reinstatement of the existing stopbank as outlined in the drawings and specifications.
This project will enable West Coast Regional Council to support restorative, and protection works in areas that are vulnerable to weather events; and keep West Coast communities safe and
accessible. It is a solid opportunity for a contractor to work with West Coast Regional Council to safeguard local and regional communities; and further build their solid track record in
climate resilience projects.
The West Coast Regional Council works together with the West Coast community to help make the region a fantastic place to live, play and do business. As well as managing the land, air and water
resources of the region, we also co-ordinate transport and emergency management functions. We are committed to working alongside the community and our partners in a manner that is
forward-looking, progressive and innovative.
