This Request for Proposals (RFP) is an invitation to submit a Proposal for the waste management services
contract.

The scope of the contract, includes.
To carry out the weekly kerbside collection of Council refuse and recycling bags, ensuring their delivery to the local transfer station.
The weekly kerbside collection of household glass in Hanmer Springs and Amberley (1 July 2026 onwards), with the collected glass also being delivered to the transfer station.

The transportation of refuse and recyclables from the Transfer Stations to the required destinations. This includes the emptying of 24/7 recycling banks located outside the transfer stations to maintain their
functionality.

The operation of the Transfer Stations, excluding the weighbridges at Hanmer Springs and Amberley, is also included in the scope, along with the provision of necessary plant and equipment to support these operations.

The regular emptying of litter bins to ensure the cleanliness and general tidiness of the districts townships.
