REOI Te Hono - Avondale Library and Community Hub - Main Construction Contract (Новая Зеландия - Тендер #62982504)

Auckland Council is seeking to appoint an experienced main construction constructor for a new integrated community facility in Avondale.

The physical project address is 1951-1987 Great North Road, Avondale.

This is a significant capital project for council who seeks for good value, productive contractual & stakeholder relationships, and the successful delivery of a broad suite of project objectives.
Importantly, this project aspires to deliver on community and mana whenua outcomes.

This project includes two linked but bespoke buildings with complex infrastructure sitting within a newly created public realm with integrated mahi toi.

Council need an experienced main construction contractor with a proven track record at this scale and complexity, plus the capacity to discharge the works efficiently and effectively respecting stakeholder interests are of upmost importance.

The opportunity is to be shortlisted for the competitive tender of the main contract works for the Te Hono – Avondale Library & Community Hub project.

A closed request for tender (RFT) will be Stage 2 of this procurement. The main contract tender is currently programmed for May 2025. The anticipated contract works commencement date is September 2025.

Respond by completing and submitting the attached REOI response form (including attachments) through GETS on, or before, 10am (NZT) on Monday, 14th April 2025.
