Pensioner Housing Tenancy Management (Новая Зеландия - Тендер #62428758)

Whangarei District Council (WDC) are reviewing their pensioner housing tenancy management contract.

The following information provides a general background to this contract:
▪WDC has 164 Pensioner units in 16 locations
▪147 units are one bedroom, six are two bedroom and 11 are bedsits
▪to be eligible applicants must be over 65 and on low incomes with limited assets
▪tenants must be able to live independently (may have some help from caregivers). No units are specifically modified for tenants with significant disabilities.
▪tenancies are managed according to the Residential Tenancies Act 1986.
▪no support services are provided, however the current tenancy managers work with a network of wrap around service providers and are able to direct and liaise with/for tenants when required to ensure they are receiving help when needed.
