Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is requesting proposals for innovative solutions to increase timely testing and diagnosis of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
Through this procurement we will be seeking to:
• increase the volume, reach, range and accessibility of testing for people at risk of HIV and other STIs
• reach those who are possibly unaware of their HIV status and connect them to the pathways of care
• create opportunity for an integrated approach to delivering HIV testing alongside other STI tests to priority groups in a range of community-based settings.

The total funding available for this service is $1.9 million in financial year 2024/2025 and $1.4 million in 2025/2026. This is expected to be split across multiple providers, ensuring a range of innovative solutions and reaching across priority populations.
