Palmerston North City has over 15,000 trees in our urban area. These require routine maintenance to keep them healthy, to keep the road corridor safe, and to optimise the street amenity value. This work is a substantial contribution to the safety and appearance of the city that you can be part of.

We want to ensure a strong strategic approach to tree maintenance, where each tree is regularly inspected and maintained. This will demonstrate to our community that we are attentive to the street environment.

The scope of this contract will include assessment and the necessary pruning for every street tree within the contract area, carried out over a 5 yearly cycle. This will include working closely with our City Arborist and Parks team.
