A vibration analysis solution is essential for Watercare"s ability to maintain the reliability and efficiency of critical machinery and equipment. With water and wastewater operations heavily reliant on various machines, any unexpected downtime due to equipment failure can result in a significant reduction in production or transmission and increased maintenance costs.
The solution consists of a combination of hardware and software. The software receives and analyses data to then highlight which parts of the machinery are in a deteriorated state and the hardware is used to measure vibrations at different parts of the machinery at various plants.
The business need is to replace an existing solution, which is aged and unsupported. This consists of 3 handheld vibration monitors and analytics software.
We need a vendor who is able to provide the software, hardware, on-site hardware support, remote software support, licenses, preferably local calibration services and appropriate level of documentation for solution provided.
