The Ministry’s lease of its existing accommodation comes to an end in September 2025, and the Ministry’s leadership has made a decision to move to a newly developed building where MFAT will be the head-tenant and will be able to directly influence the design of the building and workspaces that meet its specific requirements.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade are looking for New Zealand Information Technology Hardware suppliers to provide comprehensive technology solutions for the new head office.
We wish to appoint a lead supplier who can supply, configure, install, commission, and test network infrastructure consisting of network switches, firewalls and wireless access points. We need the supplier to: perform testing of the system and its interconnection to the provided Wide Area Network; provide detailed handover documentation; and provide a defect liability period of 12 months.
