8444 : NZUP Paerata Roundabout - Contract Management Services (Новая Зеландия - Тендер #44822361)

Waka Kotahi is seeking to procure a supplier for the delivery of Contract Management professional services associated with the Implementation phase for the NZUP Paerātā Roundabout project. This includes provision of suitably qualified personnel to carry out Engineer to Contract, Engineer’s Representative and Engineer’s Representative Assistant services for Paerātā Roundabout.
Note:
1. This contract may be extended to include contract management services for other NZUP South Auckland (SAP) projects (Waihoehoe Road Upgrade and SH22 Urbanisation) subject to the appointed Consultants performance and at Waka Kotahi’s sole discretion.
2. Nominated Engineer to Contract and Engineer’s Representatives must hold Waka Kotahi Level 3 Accreditation as a minimum.
The Paerātā Roundabout works consist of: Construction of a large diameter roundabout, cycle and pedestrian facilities, streetlighting, utilities relocation, and landscaping.
This project is adjacent to the proposed Paerātā Railway Station being delivered by KiwiRail and will be responsible for providing access to the rail station and associated park and ride facilities. The rail station is scheduled to be operational in January 2025.
The programme for construction of the Paerātā Roundabout project (post contract award of the physical works) is 15 months commencing from January 2024.
As background, the NZUP South Auckland Package (SAP) investment consists of transport network improvements including road safety improvements, urbanisation measures, public transport enhancements and active mode development. The SAP will be delivered as a programme of works consisting of several individual projects to support and achieve the objectives. These projects include:
a) Manukau to Takanini Access and Safety Improvements (MTAS)
b) Waihoehoe Road Urbanisation – on behalf of Auckland Transport
c) SH22 Urbanisation
d) Paerātā Roundabout – on behalf of KiwiRail
