Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities (Kāinga Ora) will shortly be issuing a request for Registrations of Interest (ROI) from suitably qualified, experienced and resourced organisations who
could design and construct the Project - consisting of five buildings, each 6 storeys high, comprising 139 apartments, civil works, a small office and a community centre as well as other site
amenities and landscaping. The Project is located at 18 Elm Street Auckland, New Zealand.
The scope of work/services includes taking the preliminary/resource consent level design (undertaken by others) and completing it through to detailed design, acquiring the required building
consents and constructing the works through to completion and commissioning. An approved resource consent, subdivision consent and EPA will be provided by Kāinga Ora.
The purpose of the ROI is to select a number of organisations who will be shortlisted / invited to respond to a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a design and construct contract based on NZS
3910: 2013 with Kāinga Ora Special Conditions.
It is anticipated that the physical works will commence around the fourth quarter of 2023 and be completed late 2026.
