Property Consultancy Services (PCS) is a Common Capability (CC) collaborative contract which government agencies can use to access quality, value for money property consultancy services for
their office accommodation and operational property projects.
The contract expires on 19 March 2024. New Zealand Government Procurement (NZGP) and Government Property Group (GPG) have developed the proposed commercial strategy for the next generation of
this contract to ensure it is fit-for-purpose and future-proofed to facilitate the property lifecycle and vision for smart, safe, healthy, sustainable, and inclusive workplaces (office and
operational workplaces for the future).
To support these needs and to ensure the strategy is aligned with procurement for the future and how the property consultancy industry operates, we are seeking your thoughts and feedback on the
proposed strategy. This provides you with the opportunity to contribute to the development of the next solution and ensure your business is appropriately prepared to respond to the needs of the
next solution. Please note this is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). This document is only for early market engagement.
Please read the attached proposed commercial strategy summary in this GETS listing and provide us with your feedback if you have any. The document contains details on how to navigate the
information with additional background on the current solution.

If you have more detailed feedback and would like to discuss this over a Teams call, please feel free to reach out to us via the
provided email address to seek a time to talk to the project team. The intention to respond is completely optional. It has no bearing on your future decision to participate in the RFP process
and is purely to give us an indication of expected numbers to plan accordingly.
Once we’ve received your feedback, we will complete the commercial strategy, seek internal approvals, and release the Request for Proposal (RFP) on GETS as per the indicative timeline in the
attachment. It is also proposed that an interactive, presentation-type, problem-solving based approach will be taken to the RFP and associated response process, details of which will be shared
in due course.
