• Government of Nepal has received a loan from the World Bank towards the cost of Strategic Road Connectivity and Trade Improvement Project and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for Supply, Delivery and Installation of Enterprise Network Firewall for IDMC, DOR and DRC and Server for DRC, Contract Id. No. DORHMISICT/33701167/NCB-G/082/83-01. Bidding is open to all eligible Bidders from all countries as defined in the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers, July 2016, revised November 2020.
• The Department of Roads, Babarmahal, Kathmandu invites electronic bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of Enterprise Network Firewall for IDMC, DOR & DRC with 3 years license and Server for DRC under National Competitive bidding – Single Stage Two Envelope procedures.
• Under the Single Stage, Two Envelope Procedure, Bidders are required to submit: (i) the Technical Bid and the (ii) the Price Bid, as per the provision of ITB 23 of the Bidding Document.
• Eligible Bidders may visit PPMO eGP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp.
• Bidder may download the bidding documents for e-submission from PPMO’s e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp. Bidders, submitting their bid electronically, should deposit the cost of bidding document i.e. NRs. 3000 in the following Rajaswa (revenue) account as specified below .

6. Pre-bid meeting shall be held at HMIS-ICT Unit of Department of Roads, Babarmahal at 1:00 pm on 2082/05/25(BS).

7. Electronic bids must be submitted to the office Department of Roads through PPMO’s e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp on or before 12:00 pm on 2082/06/09(BS). Bids received after this deadline will be rejected.

8. Bids shall be opened in presence of Bidders" representatives who choose to attend on 1:00 pm on 2082/06/09 at the office of HMIS-ICT Unit, Department of Roads. Bids must be valid till 2082/09/09 BS and must be accompanied by bid security, amounting to a minimum of Rs. 2,50,000/- (Rs. Two lakhs Fifty Thousand Only) which shall be valid till 2082/10/09 BS.

9. If the last date of purchasing and /or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid and bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
