INVITATION FOR BIDS TRIBHUWAN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT CIVIL AVIATION OFFICE, PROCUREMENT SECTION, GAUCHAR, KATHMANDU Bid Notice No ICB/03/PROSEC/2016(072/73) Date of Publication : 6th July 2016 (2073-03-22) 1. Tribhuwan International Airport Civil Aviation Office (TIACAO) invites Wax Seal/Stamp Tenderbids from eligible and qualified bidder/s for the, Package A : Supply, Delivery and Testing of Airport Trolley. (Re-Invitation) Package B: Supply, Delivery And Testing of Electro-Hydraulic Articulated Boom Platform. 2. Eligible Bidder/s may obtain further information and inspect the Bid Documents at the office of Tribhuwan International Airport Civil Aviation Office, Procurement Section, Gauchar, Kathmandu, Nepal. Each Bidding document may be purchased on or before 21st August 2016 (2073-05-05) from the above office of Procurement Section, Tribhuwan International Airport Civil Aviation Officeand the office of Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, Head Office, Store Section,by eligible Bidder/s or authorized agent/ representative of the bidder/s on the submission of a written application, along with the copy of company/firm registration certificate and applicable registration certificates, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Nepalese Rupees Rs.3,000.00 (Rs. Three Thousand)+VATor its equivalent amount in cash or in form of bank receipt for fee deposited in Account No. 58 in cash at Rastriya Banijya Bank, TIA Branch, Gauchar, Kathmandu. 4. Financial capability: Bidder shall have strong financial capability. The bidder must provide with its documentary evidence of NRs. 35.00 Million minimum annual turnover of last 3 consecutive year or equivalent amount of foreign currency for package A and NRs. 25.00 Million minimum annual turnover of last 3 consecutive year or equivalent amount of foreign currency for package B. The documentary evidence shall be certified. The bidder shall submit the authentic and audited document. 5. Bidder not fulfilling above clause -4 shall not be eligibale for purchasing the bid document of the above Package A and Package B. 6. Wax Sealed/Stamp Bid must be submitted to the above office Tribhuwan International Airport Civil Aviation Office, Procurement Section on or before 22nd August 2016 (2073-05-06),12:00 noon. Documents received after stipulated date and time shall not be accepted. 7. Pre-bid meeting shall be held at 11.00 LT on the 1st August 2016 (2073-04-17) at TIACAO. Attendance is strongly advised for all prospective Bidders or their representatives, but is not mandatory. 8. Bids shall be opened in the presence of Bidders or Bidder"s representatives who choose to attend at 14:00 LT on 22nd August 2016 (2073-05-06)at the office of Procurement Section, Tribhuwan International Airport Civil Aviation Office, Gauchar, Kathmandu. Bids shall be opened even in the absence of the bidders or their Authorized representative(s). 9. Bid must be accompanied by a separate Bid Bond in the form of a bank guarantee of commercial Class "A" Nepalese Bank or Bank Voucher of cash deposited at Rastriya Banijya Bank, Branch Office TIA, Gaucher, Account No. 70 for an amount of NRs. 0.65Millionor its Equivalent amount forpackage A and NRs. 0.50 Millionor its Equivalent amount forpackage B. Successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond at 5 percent of the total Contract Amount before signing of Contract. 10. If the last date of purchasing, submission and opening falls on a government holiday then the next working day shall be considered the last day. In such a case the bid validity and bid security validity shall be recognized with effect from the original bid submission deadline. 11. The Purchaser reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the bids without assigning reason, whatsoever prior to award of contract. 12. This notice also displayed on CAAN Website // www.caanepal.org.np. and http://www.gepson.gov.np. 13. Bidder may submit their bid electronically through as specified instruction to bidder.14. The bidder shall quote for only one main offer. Alternate offer, if any, shall not be considered for evaluation. 15. Any additional matters not covered by this shall be in accordance with the prevailing Public Procurement Act, 2063 and Public Procurement Regulation, 2064 of the GON.
