1. The Government of Nepal has received a credit from the World Bank and allocated budget
towards the cost of Strategic Road Connectivity and Trade Improvement Project (SRCTIP) and
intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for Periodic
Maintenance Works along Ratna Rajmarg (Harre – Chhinchu Section) (Ch.74+000 to
80+400) and Surkhet Jumla Road (Ch.112+990 to 140+100 and Ch.165+900 to 174+990 of
NH58-012), Surkhet and Dailekh. Bidding is open to all eligible bidders as per Section V of
bidding document.
2. Road Division, Surkhet invites electronic bids from eligible bidders for the Periodic
Maintenance Works along Ratna Rajmarg (Harre – Chhinchu Section) (Ch.74+000 to
80+400) and Surkhet Jumla Road (Ch.112+990 to 140+100 and Ch.165+900 to 174+990 of
NH58-012), Surkhet and Dailekh under National Competitive Bidding – Single Stage Two
Envelope Bidding procedures.
Only eligible bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding:
Minimum Average Annual Construction Turnover of the best3 years out of last 10 years:
Rs 139 Million
Minimum Work experience of similar size and nature: Rs 74 Million

083-411349or may visit PPMO e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp.
4. Bidder may download the bidding documents for e-submission from PPMO’s e-GP system
www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp. Bidders, should deposit the cost of bidding document in the
Project’s Rajaswa (revenue) account as specified below .

5. Pre-bid meeting shall be held at office 405 Road Division Birendranagar, Surkhet
Subbakuna, Karnali Providence, Nepal at 2023-08-01 at 13:00 PM.
6. Electronic bids must be submitted to the office Road Division, Surkhet through PPMO’s e-GP
system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp on or before 12:00 on 2023-08-11. Bids received after this
deadline will be rejected.
7. The bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders" representatives who choose to attend
immediately after submission deadline at the office of Road Division, Surkhet . Bids must be

valid for a period 120 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security(scanned
copy of the bid security in pdf format) amounting to a minimum of 23,00,000.00, which shall be
valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid
8. If the last date of purchasing and /or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next
working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid
security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
