1. The Government of Nepal has received a credit from the World Bank and allocated budget towards
the cost of Strategic Road Connectivity and Trade Improvement Project (SRCTIP) and intends to
apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for periodic maintenance of
(a) Bhaktapur hospital - Byasi (26SUR00201) (0+000-0+400), (b) Sallaghari - Durbar Square
(26SUR00301) (0+000-2+000), (c) Bhaktapur - Army Camp (F02801) (0+000-4+400), (d)
Thimi(ARM) - Bode - Karkigaun (KVRR) Road (F09201) (0+000 to 2+000), (e) Adhikari Gaun –
Nagarkot (F09802) (9+000-12+250), and (f) Panchkhal (ARM)-Palanchok Bhagawati Road,
Kavre (F07101) (0+000-5+000) of Bhaktapur Division, DOR. Bidding is open to all eligible bidders
as per Section V of bidding document.
2. Road Division Bhaktapur invites electronic bids from eligible bidders for the Periodic
Maintenance [Pre-Treatment and Asphalt Overlay] of (a) Bhaktapur hospital - Byasi
(26SUR00201) (0+000-0+400), (b) Sallaghari - Durbar Square (26SUR00301) (0+000-2+000),
(c) Bhaktapur - Army Camp (F02801) (0+000-4+400), (d) Thimi(ARM) - Bode - Karkigaun
(KVRR) Road (F09201) (0+000 to 2+000), (e) Adhikari Gaun – Nagarkot (F09802) (9+000-
12+250), and (f) Panchkhal (ARM)-Palanchok Bhagawati Road, Kavre (F07101) (0+000-5+000)
of Bhaktapur Division, DOR under National Competitive Bidding - Single Stage Two Envelope
Bidding procedures.
Only eligible bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding:
Minimum Average Annual Construction Turnover of the best 3 years out of last 10 years:
NPR 143.45 million.
Minimum Work experience of similar size and nature: at least One (1) Road related
Construction Contract within the last ten (10) years, with a value of at least NPR 86.10
Million that have been successfully or are substantially completed.
3. Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of
Road Division Bhaktapur, Katunje, Bhaktapur, droadbhaktapur@gmail.com or may visit PPMO
website www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp.
4. Bidder may download the bidding documents for e-submission from PPMO’s e-GP system
www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp. Bidder should deposit the cost of bidding document in the Project’s
Rajaswa (revenue) account as specified below.

5. Pre-bid meeting shall be held at Roads Division Bhaktapur, Katunje, Bhaktapur at 13:00 hrs. of
2080/05/15.
6. Electronic bids must be submitted to the office Roads Division Bhaktapur, Katunje, Bhaktapur
office through PPMO’s e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp on or before 12:00 hrs. on
2080/05/28. Bids received after this deadline will be rejected.
7. The bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders" representatives who choose to attend at 13:00
hrs. 2080/05/28 at the office of Roads Division Bhaktapur, Katunje, Bhaktapur. Bids must be
valid for a period 120 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security (scanned
copy of the bid security in pdf format) amounting to a minimum of 36,00,000/-, which shall be
valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid (i.e. [Date 150 days from the last date of
submission]).
8. If the last date of purchasing and /or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next
working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid security
shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
