Assignment Title: Consultancy services – Social Specialist

The Government of Mauritius has received financing from the World Bank for the Rodrigues Airport Project, which has been co-financed by the European Union, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.

The Social Specialist shall ensure the project complies with the provisions of all social related documents and processes required under the ESF and referred to in the ESCP, ESMF, RPF, RAPs, LMP, including stakeholder engagement and community consultation, monitoring of the Grievance Redress Mechanism (GRM) and related reporting through resolution of grievances, and implementation of the Sexual Exploitation and Abuse/Sexual Harassment (SEA/SH) Action Plan, as part of the ESMP as described in the detailed Terms of Reference. The Procurement Specialist will report to the Project Manager of the Project Implementation Unit (PIU).

Airports of Mauritius Co. Ltd (AML) now invites eligible Individual Consultants (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Individuals should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services.

A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the Selection of Individual Consultants method set out in the Procurement Regulations.
