The Ministry of Fisheries and Ocean Resources has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Transforming Fisheries Sector Management in South-West Indian Ocean Region and Maldives Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for “Individual Consultant to Guide the Procurement of a Remotely Operated Vehicle (Individual Consultant)”.

The Ministry of Fisheries and Ocean Resources now invites eligible Consultants to submit Expression of Interest. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services.

Required Documents

Interested Consultants must submit the following documents/information to demonstrate their qualifications, experience, and responsiveness to this TOR:

• Expression of Interest Letter
• Educational certificates
• Reference letters ROV projects involving benthic surveys, marine mapping, and scientific research
• Curriculum vitae indicating all experience from similar jobs
• National ID Card Copy or Passport Copy
• Financial Proposal

The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to Section III, paragraphs, 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” first published July 2016 and revised September 2023, fifth edition (“Procurement Regulations”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.

The Interested Consultant shall submit their Expression of Interest and the supporting documents by email to procurement.transform@fisheries.gov.mv.
