  4.0 TECHNICAL REQUIREMENT FOR CASSETTE PRINTER
  4.1 The instruments supplied shall be new equipment with latest technology. It shall be in good performance at all times during the tender period and tenderer shall change the instrument if the technical performance fails to meet the standard as claimed by manufacturer.
  4.2 The instrument should have the latest UV laser printing technology with higher fineness and can clearly print out the extremely high resolution QR code and related information.
  4.3 The instrument should have built in operating system without external connection.
  4.2 The cassette printer shall be able to print directly onto cassettes, eliminating manually error-filled handwriting patient information and applying labels
  4.3 The cassette printer shall be a user-friendly system with HD LCD screen, color touch-screen feature and have capability of on demand printing at the point of use
  4.4 To ensure patient safety, the cassette printer shall be able to print 2D data matrix barcode which include printing of multiple text, graphics and logos making the workflow more efficient by carrying the information printed on cassette to slide printer.
  4.5 The cassette printer shall produce high-quality print in which every cassette is clearly marked with chemical-resistant ink, easy-to-read and permanent black type to enhanced accuracy of sample integrity that improved patient care. Please state the printing resolution.
  4.6 The cassette printer shall be integrated with at least 6 slots for different request to load multiple color tissue cassette.
  4.7 Slots can be automatically switched and it can continuously print according to clinical needs.
  4.8 The tenderer shall supply adequately number of cassette printer for labelling of patient identification based on the workload given. Please state the number of cassette printer.
  4.9 The cassette printer shall have a feature in eliminating the risk of cassette mix-up.
  4.10 The cassette printer shall be accompanied with appropriate table for desktop and cassette printer and can fit easily next to the grossing area, providing greater flexibility in determining the optimal workflow solution
