INVITATION TO TENDER FOR WORKS IN NTCHISI DISTRICT

Ntchisi District Council has allocations of Governance to Enable Service Delivery Funds (GESD) in its 2025/2026 financial year budget and intends to spend part of the funds through construction works as outlined below;

Scope of the Assignment

In view of this, Ntchisi District Council intends to engage contractors to construct a Police unit and Staff House. The scope of works for the Contractors will include, but not limited to, construction of the following main components;

• Construction of Khuwi Police Unit and a double VIP toilet and a Staff House and a single VIP toilet and Water reticulation system

Ntchisi District Council therefore invites qualified contractors to perform the tasks on the particular works for construction of a Police Unit and staff house at Khuwi police unit.

Mandatory Pre-bid and site visit meeting will be conducted at:

Place: Ntchisi District Council Office, Date: 15th December, 2025, Time: 09:30 hours

Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open tendering procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Assets Act (2025) and is open to all eligible bidders.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Ntchisi District Council Offices; attention – Procurement and Disposal Officer [email: bandasiphiwe82@gmail.com]. Soft copies of the bidding documents maybe shared upon request by interested bidders.

Interested bidders are required to register their commitment to bid by paying Ntchisi District Council a non-refundable fee of MK20, 000. The method of payment will be in cash.

Completed bids must be delivered to Ntchisi District Council office at or before 10:00 hours on 19th December, 2024.

LATE BIDS SHALL BE REJECTED.

Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives, who choose to attend in Ntchisi District Council DEM’s Conference at 10:00 hours on 19th December, 2025.
