INVITATION TO BID

(ITB)

1. The Ministry of Education (MoE) has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Skills for A Vibrant Economy (SAVE) Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contracts for Supply and Delivery of Motor vehicles.

2. The SAVE Project Implementing Unit (PIU) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the vehicles as follows:

Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement procedures using a Request for Bids (RFB) document as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” dated November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Edward Jeke, +265888406000 Email: ebwjeke@gmail.com and inspect the bidding document during office hours 08:00Hrs to 16:30 Hrs at the address given below.

5. The bidding document in English language can be purchased by interested bidders at a non-refundable fee of MK100,000 or equivalent.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 8th December 2025. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below.

7. All Bids must be accompanied by a “Bid-Securing Declaration,”.

8. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.

9. Late Bids shall be rejected and returned to the owners unopened.

10. The SAVE Project reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
