The Government of Malawi has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Skills for a Vibrant Economy (SAVE) Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Construction of OdeL Centre at Domasi College of Education (DCE) in Zomba.

• Domasi College of Education now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Construction of the Odel Centre at DCE campus in Zomba. The estimated construction period is 12 months.

• Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) and is open to all eligible Bidders.

• A Pre-Bid meeting shall take place on 06th December 2024 at DCE campus in Zomba.

• Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from DCE, Procurement and Disposal of Assets Manager, Email: gomezganilukhere@gmail.com or phirigil@yahoo.com and inspect the bidding document during office hours from 08.30 Hrs to 16.00 Hrs at the address given below.

• The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee[1] of MK30,000.00. The payment will be through the bank to Domasi College of Education Account no. 1010225217, National Bank, Zomba Service Centre. The document will be corrected physically by the bidder.

• Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 19th December,2024. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 19th December 2024 at 10:00 Hrs.

• All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid-Security of MK30,000,000.00. The Bid Security shall be submitted using the Bid Security Form included in Section IV of the Request for Bids (RFB) document.
