1. The Government of Kenya has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the Secondary Education Quality Improvement Project (SEQIP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds
toward payments under the contract for the Supply, Delivery, Installation and Commissioning of ICT Equipment for Virtual Learning Infrastructure in schools in 30 counties under SEQIP in
Kenya.
2. The Teachers Service Commission now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Supply of Supply, Delivery, Installation and Commissioning of ICT Equipment for Virtual Learning
Infrastructure in Schools in 30 SEQIP Targeted Counties in Kenya.
3. Bidding will be conducted through National competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” of July,
2016 and revised Nov 2020, 4th Edition (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the Head of Supply Chain Management through ddprocurement@tsc.go.ke and inspect the bidding document during office hours [0800
to 1700 hours] at the address given below.
5. The bidding document in English may be obtained by interested Bidders from our offices situated at the address given below during official working hours or downloaded from our
website.www.tsc.go.ke for free.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before Tuesday, June 20th, 2023 at 9.00 am. Electronic Bidding shall not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly
opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on Tuesday, June 20th 2023 at 9.00 am.
7. All Bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Kshs. 3,000,000 in form of Bank Guarantee/Digital Security from a bank recognized by CBK valid for a period of 180 (One Hundred Eighty)
official working days from the date of tender submission.
8. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice,
using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
