Procurement Officer (World Bank Procurement Regulation)

The Ministry of Education is seeking a Procurement Officer to support the Development Coordination Unit (DCU) in executing and managing procurement and contract-related activities under the MASAR program or other World Bank-funded initiatives. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with procurement regulations, preparing bid documents, evaluations, contracts, and overseeing procurement processes to achieve program goals effectively.

Required Qualifications:

• A Bachelor"s degree in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in procurement, preferably in the public sector or with international organizations.
• Strong knowledge of Jordan"s government procurement systems and prior experience with international donors, preferably including the World Bank.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
