Short description SWS 2023 - Cocha Rince NS - Heating Centre Upgrade Detailed description On behalf of our Client, Clocha Rince National School, you are invited to submit a tender for the mechanical works to Clocha Rince National School as highlighted and specified in the tender documents. Scope of works: This project entails works to the existing heating centre in the boilerhouse. Refer to the drawings for further information on the works to be carried out. The scope of the works will be as follows: • Decommission and replace the 1no existing floor standing cast-iron gas boiler with a new gas condensing cascade boiler system. • Decommission and replace the existing flue for the existing boiler. • Supply and installation of a new wall mounted gas boilers in a cascade arrangement with new flues to suit the cascade boiler arrangement. • Decommission and replace the existing MCC controls panel with a new MCC control panel. • Decommission and replace the existing heating circulating pumps with new variable speed energy efficient heating pumps. • Decommission and replace the existing indirect hot water cylinder with a new direct gas-fired hot water heater. • Decommission and replace all pipework in the boilerhouse with new pipework installation and arrangement. • All associated preliminaries. • All associated decommissioning works as detailed in the specifications. • All associated electrical works as indicated on the drawings and detailed in the specifications. • All builders’ works associated with the above. See ‘Builders Work Schedule’ in ‘Volume C1 – Pricing Schedule’ for further details. • Acting as Project Supervisor Construction Stage for the project. • Acting as COVID-19 Compliance Officer for the project. • All works will be carried out in compliance with current health and safety and COVID-19 regulations. • Any other works associated with the works as identified on the drawings and the specifications. • All other items as indicated in drawings and detailed in specifications.
