As part of the implementation of the Primary Health Care Quality Improvement Operation (PHCQIO) Additional Financing Project, financed by the World Bank, the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic announces a competition for the following vacant position:

Office Manager/ English Translator

Qualification Requirements:

• Higher education in linguistics, translation, English philology, or teaching English; other higher education may be accepted if supported by relevant experience in translation/office management ;
• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience (translation/administrative support); such experience in donor-funded projects would be considered an advantage);
• Strong demonstrated skills in written and oral translation Russian ↔ English ;
• Languages: fluency in Russian and English (minimum C1 level); knowledge of Kyrgyz is an advantage;
• Demonstrated skills in records management, business correspondence, event organization, ability to work under deadlines, strong communication skills;
• IT skills: proficiency in MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint; experience with cloud storage and e-mail systems.
