To: All Prospective Bidders

This Amendment forms an integral part of the Request for Bids (RFB) documents for the above-referenced contract and shall be read in conjunction with the original RFB issued on 29 December 2025.

1. EXTENSION OF BID SUBMISSION DEADLINE

The deadline for submission of Bids, originally scheduled for 12:00 pm Cairo local time on 24 March 2026, is hereby extended.

The new deadline for submission of Bids is now:

Date: 21 April 2026
Time: 12:00 pm Cairo local time (noon)

All other conditions for Bid submission as stipulated in the RFB shall remain unchanged. Bids must be delivered to the address specified in the RFB (paragraph 6) no later than this new date and time. Any bids received after this extended deadline will be rejected.

2. PUBLIC BID OPENING (TECHNICAL PROPOSALS)

Consequently, the public opening of the Technical Proposals (the inner envelopes marked "TECHNICAL PART") will now take place immediately after the new deadline, at:

Time: 12:00 pm Cairo local time (noon)
Location: The address specified in the RFB (paragraph 6). As The Address: 15 EL-Tawfik Building,

El Fostat El Gedida, Old Cairo, Cairo, 5th floor, Arab Republic of Egypt

All envelopes marked "FINANCIAL PART" shall remain unopened and will be held in safe custody until the second public Bid opening, which will be notified in due course.

3. EXTENSION OF BID VALIDITY PERIOD

In connection with the extension of the Bid submission deadline, Paragraph 7 of the RFB is hereby amended to reflect the new Bid Validity Period.

The original requirement stated: "All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of USD300,000.00 ... and must be valid for a period of 154 days from the Bid submission date (25 August 2026)."

This is now replaced with the following:

"All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of USD300,000.00 (three hundred thousand United States dollars) or its equivalent in EGP and must be valid for a period of 154 days from the new Bid submission date (21 April 2026), i.e., until 22 September 2026."

Note: Bidders who have already submitted Bids are not required to resubmit. However, Bidders must ensure that their Bid Security remains valid for the extended period as specified above. If a Bidder"s existing Bid Security expires before the new expiry date, they must submit an extension of the Bid Security validity or a new Bid Security. Failure to do so may result in the rejection of their Bid.

4. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RECEIPT

Please acknowledge receipt of this Amendment No. 1 by signing and returning a copy of this notice to the Employer at the contact address or email below, or by including this signed acknowledgement with your Bid submission.

5. EFFECT OF AMENDMENT

All other terms and conditions of the RFB documents, including the scope of works, technical specifications, and evaluation criteria, remain unchanged. This Amendment is binding on all Bidders.
