• The Government of the Gambia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Gambia Inclusive and Resilient Agriculture Value Chain Development Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract[1] for Construction of SEED DRYING FLOORS, INSTALLATION OF CHAIN LINK FENCING and CEREAL STORES for GIRAV Project: “For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing.”]
• The Ministry of Agriculture now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders Construction of SEED DRYING FLOORS, INSTALLATION OF CHAIN LINK FENCING and CEREAL STORES for GIRAV Project by Lots.

Lot 1:

• Upgrading of the NSS main store complex at SAPU A (24.5 × 8 m)
• Construction of a drying floor at SAPU A (18 × 17 m)
• Construction of a security house at SAPU A (8 × 4 m)
• Upgrading of the NSS former Taiwanese seed store at SAPU B (42.5 × 8.5 m)
• Construction of a drying floor at SAPU B (42 × 15 m)
• Installation of chain-link fencing at SAPU B (75 × 55 m)

Lot 2:

• Construction of new seed/cereal stores at Kerewan Samba Sira (24.5 × 8 m) for three enterprises
• Construction of new seed/cereal stores at Pakau Njogu and Niani Banni (15 × 10 m) for the Pakau Njogu Seed Cooperative and Banni Certified Seed Cooperative
• Construction of drying floors for Pakau Njogu and Banni (10 × 10 m)
• Installation of chain-link fencing for Pakau Njogu and Banni (10 × 10 m)

• Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers- Procurement in Investment Projects Financing” dated July 2023 Procurement Regulations edition as per legal agreement] (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

• The Bidding document in English language may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee[3] of GMD10,000.00 Ten thousand Dalasi only per Lot. The method of payment will be Cash or by transfer the document will be sent by hard copy or by electronic
• A bidder may apply for both lots but will be awarded only one.
• Bids must be delivered to the address below [state address at the end of this RFB][4] on or before Thursday 19th February 2026 at 11:30 am Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected.
