Name of Project: Ethiopian Food System Resilience Program

• The Oromia Bureau of Agriculture has intended to apply for financing from the World Bank (IDA) toward the cost of the Food System Resilience Program. It intends to use part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Procurement of motorcycles.
• The Oromia Bureau of Agriculture now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Procurement of 20 Motor Cycles required, delivered within 60 days of signing the contract.
• Bidding will be conducted through National competitive Bidding using a Request for Bids (RFB)as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
• Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Oromia Bureau of Agriculture Procurement and Logistics Directorate, 3rd Floor, and inspect the bidding document during office hours from 2:30 to 11:00 Local time, from Monday to Friday at the address given below.
• The bidding document in the English language may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 2,000.00 (Two Thousand ETB. The method of payment will be depositing the Money in the Oromia Bureau of Agriculture Account No.1000007342105 and taking a receipt from the Finance Office, 3rd floor. The document will be collected from the 8th Floor FSRP Management Unit.
• Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 10:00 A.M., 15 January 2026 G.C. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 10:30 A.M., 15 January 2026 G.C.
• All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of an unconditional and Irrevocable Bank Guarantee or CPO of ETB 150,000.00 (One Hundred Fifty Thousand ETB).
