The Government of Sierra Leone has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of West Africa Food System Resilience Program (FSRP-2), and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services. The consulting services (“the Services”) include Under the direct supervision of the Project Manager, responsible for (i) manage and carry out the procurement activities required for implementation of all the Projects in the World Bank portfolio in accordance with the Project’s covenant documents such as the Financing Agreements, World Bank’s Guidelines and procedures for hiring consultants, among others; and (ii) required to be familiar with the World Bank and Government of Sierra Leone financial management laws, procedures, regulations, policies, the Project’s covenant documents, including the Financing Agreements, Project Appraisal Document, Project Implementation Manual, Disbursement and Financial Information Letter (DFIL), Project Appraisal Document (PAD. The duration of the assignment is Twelve (12) months, and it expected start date in May,2024. The Project Management Unit now invites qualified individuals (Consultants) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information (academic/ professional certificates and updated CVs) which demonstrate that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to Section III, paragraphs, 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” dated July 2016 and revised in November 2017, August 2018 and November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.
Consultant will be selected in accordance with the Individual Consultant Selection Method set out in the “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” dated July 2016 and revised in November 2017, August 2018 and November 2020.
