The Eastern and Southern Africa Trade and Development Bank (TDB) Group has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Accelerating Sustainable and Clean Energy
Access Transformation (ASCENT) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.
The consulting services (“the Services”) include the Results Based Financing (RBF) Analyst (Individual Consultant) assignment for a period of five (5) calendar years from contract
commencement date. The objective of the assignment is to provide analytical, operational, and technical support to TDF for effective implementation of the RBF facility, including data-driven
decision-making, coordination, monitoring, and stakeholder engagement.

TDB now invites eligible individual consultants (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating
that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services (cover/application letter summarizing the relevant experience and indicating its relevance to
the assignment, detailed curriculum vitae (CV), copies of documentary evidence of academic and professional qualifications). The shortlisting criteria are:
A minimum of a master’s degree in business administration, Accounting, Banking, Finance, Economics, or related field
A Minimum of 10 years general working experience in Finance with a Development Finance Institution, a Commercial Bank or Financial Advisory Firm.
A minimum of 8 years of specific experience in project/ corporate finance in similar assignments
The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to Section III, paragraphs, 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” First Published July
2016 and Revised Fifth Edition September 2023, (“Procurement Regulations”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.
