1. The Government of Cabo Verde has received financing in the amount of US$ 29.00 million from the World Bank toward the cost of the Health Security Program in Western and Central Africa Project, aiming to increase regional collaboration and health system capacities to prevent, detect and respond to health emergencies in Cabo Verde.

2. The Unidade de Gestão de Projectos Especiais (UGPE) now invites quotation from eligible bidders to: Procurement of Equipment and Supplies for Zoonotic Inspection at Points of Entry (POEs):

• Lot I – Computer Equipment;
• Lot II - Cold Chain and PPEs

Bidders may submit quotations for one or both lots. However, they must clearly indicate in their quotation the lot(s) for which they are bidding.

3. The Supplier will be selected in accordance with the Request for quotation (RFQ) methods set in “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers”, dated July 2016 and revised in February 2025 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Unidade de Gestão de Projectos Especiais, in written only, and requested trough emails address below (see paragraph 11) and/or inspect the bidding document during office hours from 08 am to 4 pm at the address given below (see paragraph 11). 5. The bidding document in English language only, may be requested by interested Bidders upon submission of a written request to the addresses provided below.

6. The Deadline for quotation submission until August 22, 2025 at 15h00 Cabo Verde Time.

7. Quotation shall be opened after the deadline for quotation submission. The record of the quotation opening shall be share to all Bidders that submit quotation.

8.Electronic submission will be permitted. Please check the Request for quotation document for instructions

9. The Purchaser shall not consider any quotation received after the deadline for quotation submission. Any quotation received after the deadline shall be declared late quotation will be rejected.

10. The Purchaser reserves de right to not selected any Supplier if it not fulfills the condition.
