The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Building Institutions and Systems to Harness and Realize Agenda (Biashara) 2063 and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Supply and Delivery of Computers and Accessories for the Secretariat as hereunder indicated:

• The AfCFTA Secretariat now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Supply and Delivery of Computers and Accessories. More details on the required specifications are contained in the Bidding Document.
• Bidding will be conducted through National competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” dated July 2016, revised 6th Edition of February 2025 (“Procurement Regulations”), which can be found and/or downloaded from the following website: www.worldbank.org/procurement and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
• Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat offices during office hours i.e. 0830 to 1730 hours at the address given below. The Bidding Document in English Language may be obtained from The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) website at the following link: https://au-afcfta.org/bids/ free of charge.
• Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 30th May 2025 at 10.00 am GMT. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 30th May 2025 at 10.10 am GMT.
• All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of USD 5,000.00 in form of an unconditional Bank Guarantee, only valid for twenty-eight days beyond the bid validity period.

Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
