THE FOURTH PHASE OF THE CENTRAL ASIA REGIONAL

LINKS (CARS) PROGRAM

GRANT NO: D699-TJ

The Republic of Tajikistan received the Grant No: D699-TJ from the International Development Association (IDA) for the implementation of the Fourth Phase of the Central Asia Regional Links (CARs-4) Program), and in a frame of the project intends to hire a Gender Consultant to support the CS in ensuring effective management and coordination of gender activities under Component 3 of the project.

The qualification requirements are:

• Higher education in social science, gender, economics, international development, law and international relations or related area;
• At least five years of relevant professional experience in the area of gender equality and mainstreaming communication with investment projects and international donors within the country;
• Experience in the field of gender policy and equality; especially in the area of advancing women’s employment in male-dominated sectors, such as transport, foreign trade and logistics;
• Ability and skills to provide presentable reports, necessary materials/documents on achieved outcomes, organize and conduct events (logistics);
• High standards of professional and work ethics and good team player;
• Knowledge of Tajik and Russian; English is mandatory;
• Fluent computer skills, in particular, Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel and Power Point).
