The bidders are allowed to quote separate prices for one or more lots.
3. Bidding will be conducted through International competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “ Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” July 2016 revised November 2017 & August 2018 (“Procurement Regulations”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest. (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

and inspect the bidding document during office hours from 9:00 to 17:00 the address given below.
5. The Bidding document in English language may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of USD 200 or equivalent in EGP. The method of payment will be in Bank transfer in the Bank account of the Egyptian Central Bank – The Environmental Protection Fund (EPF). The document will be sent by airmail for overseas delivery by courier services and may be required for overseas delivery against courier charge.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before March 24th 2025, at 12:00 PM CLT , Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. The outer Bid envelopes marked “ORIGINAL BID”, and the inner envelopes marked “TECHNICAL PART” will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders ’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend, at the address below March 24th 2025, at 12:00 PM CLT. All envelopes marked “SECOND ENVELOPE: FINANCIAL PART” shall remain unopened and will be held in safe custody of the Purchaser until the second public opening.
7. All Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security with an amount as follows:
LOT1: USD 3,500
LOT2: USD 3,500
LOT3: USD 3,500
The bid security shall be valid for 150 days from the bid"s submission date until 23/08/2025.
8. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder"s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
