Invitation to Bid, loan no. EG-8895

The Egyptian government was granted a loan from The International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, loan no. EG-8895, and it intends to disburse part of the return on the loan on the following tender:

National tender no. (EG-MOHP-468271-GO RFB) for purchasing of hardware for IT system of Blood Bank, as a part of the activity of “Atomization of 11 Blood Bank centers, and increase the efficiency of 17 centers” which financed by the above mentioned project, specified for its inquiry session on Monday 27/1/2025 at 12 pm , and specified for its Financial and technical envelopes opening session on Sunday 16/2/2025 at 12 pm, The price of bidding document is (10,000 LE), primary insurance value is (1,400,000 LE) .

• Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (Request for Bids) procedures using one envelope system (Financial – Technical) one lot, in accordance with the “World Bank Procurement Regulations for Borrowers under Investment Project Financing” dated July 1, 2016 and revised November 1, 2017 , August 1, 2018, and 2023 (Procurement Regulations), and the provisions of the “World Bank Anti-Corruption Guidelines”, dated July 1, 2016 and revised November 1, 2017 will apply.
• Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents, from Ministry of Health and Population; contracts and procurement department, during office hours 8.00 am to 2.00 pm. at the address given below.
• A complete set of bidding documents in Arabic may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of: (EGP 10,000) The method of payment will be CASH.
• Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened at 12:00 pm in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below.
• All bids must be accompanied by a: bid security of (EGP 1,400,000 ) of total amount of bid price,
